» worldcritic - Not at all your regular celtic band I think that whoever it was that wrote that The McDades were a traditional Irish group had better give them a good second listening or they should check out some real traditional Celtic/Irish music. The McDades are not traditional and are definitely not like riverdance. I have seen the band perform a couple of times and have two of there CDs. They are very creative and combine music from around the world in a unique way. You do a great disservice to your readers by have a short one line review written by someone who doesn't know anything about world music and that is a real shame. -- posted by worldcritic
