The underbelly of the underground Indie scene is always teeming with new artists on the verge of a breakthrough. They are the future of Indie music and deserve a chance.

There are many people that would blink their eyes and stare blankly when the name Jake Bellows is mentioned. The reference is lost on most people, which is really a shame as Jake's music is brilliant.

For those who don't know, Jake is the front man for the band Neva Dinova--a front runner in the Omaha music scene. The music is brilliant, emotive and under the radar. If a reference to the well established, Neva Dinova is lost on the masses, imagine the confusion when a newer less-established artist is mentioned.

This list is a taste of the Indie scene of the future and while not all Indie purists will be interested in listening to the newer music hitting the scene, many will find it to hold true to the Indie ideals that are already in place. So, here is a list of 4 newer Indie bands worth listening to.

Give it a shot and pass the information on!
